Pay on Account option in CPS Air
In 3.100, the Pay on Account option was added at the bottom of the Advanced button in CPS Air. You can use this button when one of your members wants to make a payment on their account; it only shows if you are working with a customer or member account in the Sales screen. If a cash account is selected, then the option is not visible.
Note: This feature works just like it does in POSExpress.
Before you start, note that this button will only display for employees that have the User Rule enabled for Pay on Account, which is found in the web-based online settings, Online Options. To see how to enable this rule, see below>>
To use the Pay on Account option for a member

On the iPad, in CPS Air, if you haven’t signed in yet, enter your PIN.
Note: Your employee PIN must have previously been set up with the Pay on Account User Rule enabled. To learn how, jump below>>

Search for the member who is making payment.
Note: This will only work on a customer account or member.

Select the Advanced button from the top and then select Pay on Account. The Enter Amount pop-up displays.

Enter the amount and select Done or select one of the amounts under the Quick Amount section. The amount displays to the right as a Pay On Account line.

Finalize the payment using the Credit Card option or the Member option.
To set up an employee with Pay on Account privileges

Go to your Online Options page and log on as Admin or someone that has permission to do this.

To go to the User Rules screen by selecting Options | Security under the Main hamburger menu. The User Rules screen displays.

Select or Add a new user security rule. The options display to the right.

Select the Pay on Account checkbox.

Click Save at the bottom right of the User Rules screen. The list of users displays again. This will be available immediately for any employee that has this permission enabled.
